Key learnings and reflection
Despite the survey being sent out for a week, only 7 responses were received. Although the neighborhood is small, the low response rate does not provide enough evidence for demand. Instead of giving up, I decided to investigate the cause. Upon analyzing the survey recipients, I discovered that it was primarily targeted toward senior citizens. Given that the neighborhood is predominantly comprised of the elderly, they are unlikely to use social media and may lack the technical skills to complete the survey online.required to fill it online.
Solution
Therefore, I believe that a door-to-door data collection approach would be more effective. This will allow me to gather more accurate responses from a larger target audience. Although this method may take longer, the online survey was not yielding enough results. To further promote the project, I plan to create a brochure that can be used for advertising purposes.
