Key Learnings

Week 1 Internship and Study at PinBox – My first week as an intern at PinBox was dedicated to learning about the pension system in India. I familiarized myself with the three pension options offered by the government, including National Pension Scheme, Atal Pension Yojana, and PMSBY.

Primary Research through Saurabh Mishra Interview – Given the complex logistics of enrolling household workers in government schemes, I conducted an interview with the Joint Secretary of Insurance and Pension, Mr. Saurabh Mishra, to better understand the most suitable pension option for our target audience. Through this, I learned that the PMSBY is the best choice for household workers as it offers government matching of their contributions.
